In order to become an affliate you need to join one or more affliate programs. Most affiliate programs are free to join and all is required is to sign up and then within few minutes the company will send the links you need to use on your website. It is important to choose a subject you like so you can build a good content and have more traffic to your site. More traffic means more possibilities for visitors to click on affiliate links in your site.

I will walk you through an example of how you can quickly build a site and include affiliate links in it. For this example let's say that you are creating a site about making money by filling surveys or completing offers online. Let's say that you did your research and you like one specific survey site: http://www.vindale.com and you want to become an affiliate for that site. First visit the site and join for free. After joining you can click on the Refer a Friend box. Once you do this you will see a textbox under Your Referal Link such as http://tryvindale.com/Vby2UPKUc. Copy this text and add it to your site. Each time a visitor clicks the Vindale link will be able to link the visitor as referral from your site. If the visitor signs up and completes a survey then you will make $5. It's that easy.

In your site you can include more than one referral link for different companies but with same subject. Some companies pay for just directing traffic to their site which is called pay per click. However, most of them require that visitor signs up and maybe completes an offer before you get credited for the referral.

Make the math. If you are able to refer 5 people a days at $5 each then you will be making $25 a day or $750 a month. This is a good amount for not doing much.

If one site makes $750 a month then you might need to build more than one site and each site can be about a different subject. Thus you a variety of affiliates programs and you can catch more audience using different content. If each site makes a bit of money then it will add up.

In addition to affiliate programs you can also earn money from programs like Google AdSense or having other companies advertise on your site. Thousands of people make a living from affiliate marketing.
